The St. Servatius bridge (Dutch: Sint Servaasbrug) is an arched footbridge across the Meuse in Maastricht. It is named after the first bishop of Maastricht, called Saint Servatius. It has been called the oldest bridge in the Netherlands and is an important icon of the city of Maastricht. During WWII the arches of the bridge were heavily damaged by the German army in 1944, but it was completely rebuilt in 1948.
