We visited a pre-school called Siphuncedo in Knysna (Wit Lokasie). Our guide Peggy Dlephu has a soup kitchen that feeds about 95 children twice a week. In 2017, the huge Cape Storm caused fires that swept through the town of Knysna and surrounding areas in the days after the storm. The fires killed 7 people and displaced 10.000 with 600 structures in Knysna and Plettenberg Bay being destroyed. Currently, Knysna is rising from the ashes.
