In February 2017, we visited the south of Iceland by car. Highlights include Reykjavik (Hallgrímskirkja, Harpa, Voyager), Pingvellir National Park (boundary North American and Eurasian tectonic plates), Kerid crater, Seljalandsfoss and Skogafoss waterfalls, Vik (Black Sand Beach), Eyjafjallajokull (erupted 2010), Jokulsarlon glacier lagoon (Diamond Beach), Geyser Hot Springs (Strokkur erupts every 10 minutes), and Gullfoss waterfall.
In februari 2017 hebben we een trip gemaakt door IJsland. Hoogtepunten waren Reykjavik, Skogafoss, Pingvellir, Kerid, Seljalandsfoss, Eyjafjallajokull (laatste uitbarsting in 2010), Vik (zwart 'strand'), Jokulsarlon gletsjermeer, Geyser regio en Gullfoss.
