The American military cemetery in the Netherlands is located in Margraten. Along the sides of the court are Tablets of the Missing on which are recorded 1.722 names. Beyond the Memorial Tower, a total of 8.291 military are buried, and their headstones are set in long curves. The cemetery is open daily to the public from 9.00-17.00 (excl. exceptions). A staff member is on duty in the visitor building to escort relatives.
